GENEVIEVE SHI 石尚秋韵
is an award winning bilingual actress, singer and director who also created her own coaching business.
Gen was born and raised in Chongqing - a mountain city in the middle south of China, famous for spicy food. She plays the piano since little and trained as a classical soprano during high school. She came to New York all on her own when she was 19.
Previously Gen was on off-Broadway in the new musicals COMFORT WOMEN at Playwrights Horizons and GREEN CARD at Theatre at St.Clement's. She was honored to be invited twice to perform as the soloist at both 2017 & 2018 OSCAR CHINA NIGHT in Beverly Hills, LA. Her favorite stage credits include playing 20th century icon Evelyn Nesbit in the Halloween themed immersive theater THE WHITE NIGHT, Liat in South Pacific at Fireside Dinner Theatre in WI, her self produced sold-out solo concert at Triad Theatre.

FilmFest Judge
In 2022, Genevieve worked as a judge in multiple film festivals in NY and NJ. Including New York True Venture Film Festival, Bergen International Film Festival, Revolution Me Film Festival and Hudson International Film Festival.
Coaching Business
During 2020 pandemic, Genevieve built her own online coaching business. She helps Chinese millennials speak English with more grace and confidence, and also coaches singers on singing technique.
16 Award Winning Film RORY HOME
In summer 2022, Genevieve made her director debut in romance short film RORY HOME, which she also produced and starred in as the lead actress. Currently premiering in the festival circuits, RORY HOME has won 16 awards so far in LA Film Awards, Oniros Film Awards, New York Movie Awards, IndieX FilmFest… Including “Best Actress”, “Best Romance”, “Best First-Time Director”.
